So impressed with this company. A roof is a major expense, and I was unsure which company I could trust. Skinner worked to build my trust, going the extra lengths to make sure I was picking the shingles that would really look great on my house.When installation day came, they arrived at 7 am and worked absolutely tirelessly until no daylight remained! They took extra care on the crucial flashing and installed the roof with great care. Everything looks fantastic. They cleaned up so well at the end of the day that there was not a clue they had ever even been here except of course for the beautiful new roof. I strongly recommend this company and would hire them again in an instant!

This team was on point, on time and true to their word. Worked with my insurance company to get the coverage that I paid for. These days it’s difficult to get people to respond and I had no issues in getting calls and texts responding to my questions. The work was Don in less than 2 days and they did a great job installing and cleaning. I would definitely recommend!

I had a bought an older home and realized there was a leak in my living room. I reached out to Shane at NL Skinner and he quickly swung by to repair my roof. Once Shane was able to get on my roof, he was able to explain to me why my issues were more serious than a leak. He replaced my roof instead and the transformation was night and day. Once the new roof was on, I could see how the old shingles were never attached correctly allowing for leaks to take place. Fantastic roofer. If you're looking for the best roofer in the area, look no further. Just a few weeks ago Skinner Home Improvements installed a beautiful shake roof, which is a cedar shake look done in asphalt. The shingles are difficult to work with because they have to be placed in uneven rows, almost like a jigsaw puzzle. Also, the shingles are in smaller sheets than regular shingles. Trent, the owner, showed up with about 8 men. They worked from 8am until 9pm at night each day. These men, Trent, & his brother Shane, are first class craftsmen. Peeled off the old roof, laid the new one, & what a result. This was a very expensive shingle, & the house took 54 squares, which is 5400 sq feet. Being unusual I'm not going to list the price. For what was done & the days it took I thought it was very fair. At the end his men went over everything with rolling magnets, & cleaned everything spotless. First class job. Would recommend in an instant.
